MY name is Just Tom and back on the Mainland I used to travel about with a very friendly chicken on my shoulder,. Seems they are easier to get along with in some ways than people. I bring my friendly chickens to Burning Man, the Rainbow Gatherings, the Harmony Festival besides bringing them to the town park, the breakfast with out door seating, the hardware store and more. Kids and adults love to cuddle my chickens and they seem to like it too. I'm desperatly in need of a CHICKEN! Preferably young, Rooster or hen but it's gotta have 5 toes, dark skin, and very fluffy featers. I need to find a JAPANEESE SILKIE chicken. they sell them at the Pahoa Feed store, people buy them, I know they are here. It's just that MOST choickens here are a wild variety or fighting cocks. These are not fighters. I have had two dozen roosters of this breed and they have never been hostile to anyone.

So if you have an extra Silkie you'd like to sell, or if you know a neighbor that might have one please let me know. They come pure white, jet black, brown, red, or blue. But they all have five or maybe 6 toes and dark skin. Please see some pics enclosed. err.. maybe I can't upload a pic here.. Well these are really fluffy chickens they look more like rabbitts than feathered birds. I got some real cute pics too..
